Hey Reader~
My lifestyle blog traffic fell from a median of 4000-5000 pageviews to one of ~1000 pageviews minimum.
Not to mention I stopped emailing.
I stopped doing pretty much everything.
Then I started reconstructing Lemon & Lively in secret — er, as secret as I could while updating the 404 to link to a page about it.
Took my blog from ~882 published posts to *checks count* 277 published posts.
And I'm still taking the count down.
Traffic is improving, too, so looking like the summer traffic slump is about to be over.
(I have seasonal plans to prevent this being an issue next year by leveraging the fact there are two seasons happening on the planet at any given time.)
(Having friends like Georgie and Lou taught me this ~15 years ago.)
